This question was just a general one as you can see i 15 male and 15 females took part in my questionnaire in order to get fair results.

2. How old are you?

This question was asked to see if there was a pattern between age and magazines read. Results show that 15-16year olds took the questionnaire and only 2, 19 ear olds took the questionnaire.

3.What is your ethnicity?

I asked this question to see if there was a pattern in music & culture. Results show that i interviewed more black people and less Asian

4.What type of music magazines do you read?

i asked what types of magazine people read and rock, R n B and soul where the highest. Within the people i questioned there was a small audience of hip hop readers

5.How much would you pay for a magazine?

I wanted to know how much people would pay for a magazine and people said 50p-£1.00 was reasonable especially for a new magazine with no known reputation.

6. What else would you like to read in a magazine?

This quesion was targeted at the people who thought the magazine shouldn't be focused on one genre, the bar classed as other was answers such as other genres of music should be mentioned.

7. What attracts you to a magazine?

I wanted to know why people were attracted to magazine in order to use the same technique and attract people to my magazine. 13 people said the colour of the magazine attracted them to it whilst other people said the artist featured on the front attracted them.

17 people thought my magazine should be based on one genre, i asked this question to see what people's opinions.

This was a question to see whether it was likely that my magazine would be read. But 16 people out of 30 said they didn't read magazines.

I asked this question as i was indecisive in which name to pick the overall verdict was ICONIC.

I asked people why they think that name best suited after they'd picked a name and since the question was opened i categorized the answers in order to produce results.

This question was asked so i knew what people wanted to see in my magazine. 12 people said they'd like to see musical artists. a further 12 more people said they'd also like to see musical students

This part of information was crucial as i wanted to know who my audience was only 5 people read hip hop magazines and 12 read R n B.

14. Do you prefer to download or buy CD’s?

18 people said they downloaded their music whilst the remaining 12, still bought cd's. This question was asked so i could possibly refer readers to a legit music website.

15. Why do you listen to this genre of music?

I asked this question as many people listen to music for different reasons and results above show that many people said that they listened to music for entertainment.

16. What Hip-Hop website do you prefer?

I asked this question because these two hip-hop sites are in competition but the people i asked favored Source's website, this question was asked for general knowledge.

17. What colour theme would be best for my magazine?

15 people picked purple & white mainly because those colours mixing with each other stand out. Only two people picked blue and black, this question was asked because i wanted to know others' opinion.

18. How Much Do You Buy Cd's For?

I asked this question to see what extent people would go to by a CD with downloadable content available nowadays. The graph shows us that 10 people would actually pay £10 for a Cd and some wouldn't mind paying £12.

19. Who is Your Favourite Artist?

I asked this question just for general feedback in order to know who people liked. this was also an open question and many people chose Michael Jackson.

As this was an open questionn people had many answers but many said Michael jackson, so all the people who had written thier favourite song was classed as other.
